These games don't have the title "Newgrounds Rumble 2" but these are great crossover Newgrounds games that are coming soon.
Rushdown Rivals is getting its biggest update yet. With more characters, enemies, bosses, and even adding character assists in the game. The game is even going to have post-launch support with three more characters after the game release (and probably more if people support it). Figburn and Trent have been working on a traditional fighting game (similar to Guilty Gear) with Newgrounds characters. The game doesn't have a title and so far we know two characters. And finally, Project: NG. This game got announced this year and I'm gonna say it, it's the closest we will ever get to a Newgrounds Rumble 2 because the roster is insane. Not only everyone from Newgrounds Rumble is returning, but also new characters are being added. The game is a traditional fighting game (similar to Skull Girls) but with a Neo Geo pixel art style. Unfortunately, three programmers left the team and it seems less likely we will have a demo for next year for Pico Day. The release date is unknown.
